May 2nd. we were on the move.

Douglas repaired the brake lights, installed the tires and license plate. We had removed the heavy sofa bed, microwave, and refrigerator two weeks ago before hitting the road.  The water damage is pretty extreme. When we got home we were able to take the dinette set out, upper cabinets, and window treatments.  We are able to see the extent of water damage. Now we can assess what is preventing the slide out from functioning properly. This is going to be a fun summer project.

We couldn't pick it up right away.

When we purchased the camper the tires were dry rotted. The large slider was deteriorated. It took several men, and a come along in order to crank it back in place. The camper had mouse poison, dryer sheets, and moth balls as mice repellent. The space has a very unique smell of it's own.  We were happy that the owner allowed us to keep the camper on his land for a few weeks in order to get the tires, and registration in order.

We found a camper online.

We found a camper advertised online. We decided to purchase it because it was at a great price. It didn't appear to have any major issues on the ad. We decided to seal the deal over the weekend.
